I had a great time in Phoenix last week! Met a lot of great people, had lots of fun on the course, and played some good golf! Not a bad combination!
The first two days can be summed up with one word: steady! I made a million pars and some birdies to go into the weekend at 7 under par. The beginning of Saturday's round was more of the same: pars. Then everything changed! Starting on hole number 6 I made two pars, 6 birdies and 5 bogeys for a one under par 71. My steady play was back on Sunday, but an unfortunate finish dropped me to a tie for 10th place.
I'm really excited about my game and can't wait to tee it up again this week at the Kia Classic in Carlsbad, California! I played great for 71 holes and that's what I'm going to build on for the rest of the season!
