I'm not a big fan of cardio workouts, but I have finally found a way of getting great exercise while having a lot of fun - Tennis!!! My brother and I played some growing up but I quit when I was 13 years old and didn't play at all for the next 10+ years. Then one of the caddies on tour suggested we play some tennis during an event a few years ago and we have played a few times every year since. 

Chris Young, the head Women's Tennis Coach at OSU, is organizing a few tennis sessions every week during the summer and I jumped on the opportunity to learn how to play the game! Tuesday and Wednesday mornings are for ladies only and I'm probably the youngest one there, but the tempo is high and I'm feeling more comfortable with the game for every session that passes. Thursday evening is my favourite though, since it's mixed with both men and women. I like to hit it hard (as hard as I can...) and I feel a lot better doing that against a middle-aged man than an older lady ;)
