I have been at home for about a week now and it's been great so far! The first few days were spent with my golf club, Delsjö GK, at the Swedish Team Championship where we managed to win the silver medal! It's a fun event where we play best ball and alternate shot as well as "normal" single rounds. After four days all scores are added up and Barsebäck wins (I think they've won 6 or 7 straight years), while the rest of us are fighting for 2nd place. So one might say that my club won ;)
I'm also happy to announce that I'm allowed to go back to the US when this vacation is over! I had my VISA interview in Stockholm last week and was approved, so you guys are stuck with me for another five years now. I will definitely make the most out of them, I promise!
The last time I was in Sweden was over Christmas and I have had a lot of catching up to do this week. I have great friends and family and I love spending time with them whenever I can. So far I have picked lots of mushrooms in the forests, avoided even more tics while searching for the shrooms, helped a friend build a garage, spent hours playing cards while the rain has poured outside and baked some delicious cinnamon rolls. Starting today, I'm back playing golf! I'm going to inhale some lunch now and then head to the range for a little practice session before teeing off. Can't wait!
