Some weeks golf is mostly a struggle... And this week was unfortunately one of them. I hit the ball awful all week, but somehow I managed to hit a lot of fairways and greens. Far from the hole, but yes on the green :) If my putter had been slightly hot I would have made the cut despite all the "quasi shanks", which I guess is better than being 15 shots out of the cut line...
I've been having some back issues the last few weeks, which has prevented me from attacking the iron shots the way I like to do. This has caused a bunch of unsolid, weak shots that have fallen too far right. If you happen to see the front right parts of the greens at Royal Canberra worn out, you can probably blame it on me!
The good thing is that we have a great physio on site this week and he's been mangling me a few times while also giving me some exercises to do on my own. It's paid off and I'm already starting to feel better! And to top that off, my caddie Tom and I have found a few keys regarding my swing and I hit some good shots on the range today! Can't wait to tee it up again next week and make some progress!
And now to the exciting part of the week: the kangaroos! They are all over the course and I sneaked out on the course with my camera to capture a few of them yesterday. Enjoy!
