Match Play.....

The match play bug came to bite me this week. I might have just made up that sentence, but I like it! And here's why:

I played some great golf yesterday! Birdied my first two holes and was three under par and 3 up in my match against So Yeon Ryu at the turn. That's when Ryu went from golfer to birdie machine - I made 8 straight pars and she made 5 birdies and 3 pars. Game over! I lost 2/1 despite being three under par through 17. 

Losing sucks, but I played well - only problem was that Ryu played even better. I guess that's what match play is all about - you can shoot 69 and lose or shoot 75 and win...
