LPGA Championship

I will start off by saying that my putter didn't exactly behave this week. That's the only negative I can think of regarding the Wegmans LPGA Championship and Rochester, New York.

The crowds were amazing, the course was in beautiful shape (especially before the heavy rains soaked it), I had some wonderful fans walking the fairways with me (thanks to my caddy Brian, who lives in the area), I hit a bunch of really good shots and my bunker game was fantastic!!! I spent some quality time at Wegmans - a great food store that carries everything you can think of and then some, the air smelled a bit like Sweden, I had a nice "Midsummer" dinner with Swedish friends at a Thai restaurant (yup, I know that doesn't make any sense) and Brian's daughters kept me entertained during and after my rounds.

All those positives should definitely outweigh the one, tiny, little negative... Can't wait to get to practice and get the putter hot in time for the US Open next week!!!

It was great to see you again out on the golf course in Rochester!!! You made me a fan of yours for life when you gave me a ball on the 17th green last year after you saved par and I cheered (the loudest, I think...). It also seems like no matter how hard the shots are going, you always have a chance to smile at the fans!!! I really like that!! I also watched you on the practice tee when you were getting some pointers...they actually will help me too!!! Anyways, it was great to see you again and can't wait until next year!!!
